I’m a burgers and fries kind of girl (among other things). So much so that you could probably say they are my weakness… When I found this recipe, I just about cried. Homemade fries that are 1. delicious, 2. made from all real ingredients and 3. CRISPY!? YES. Please.
1 1/2 lbs. Russet Potatoes (or 2 large potatoes)
2 Tbsp Extra Light Olive Oil (or Avocado Oil)
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F).
Wash potatoes and then cut lengthwise into 1/2 inch wide fries.
Place fries in a large bowl with the olive oil, salt, and pepper and mix until evenly coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and then spread the fries out in a single layer (to insure they get crispy).
Bake in the oven until fries are golden brown and crispy (about 30 minutes).
