French Fries

I’m a burgers and fries kind of girl (among other things). So much so that you could probably say they are my weakness… When I found this recipe, I just about cried. Homemade fries that are 1. delicious, 2. made from all real ingredients and 3. CRISPY!? YES. Please.


  • 1 1/2 lbs. Russet Potatoes (or 2 large potatoes)

  • 2 Tbsp Extra Light Olive Oil (or Avocado Oil)

  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F).

  2. Wash potatoes and then cut lengthwise into 1/2 inch wide fries.

  3. Place fries in a large bowl with the olive oil, salt, and pepper and mix until evenly coated.

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and then spread the fries out in a single layer (to insure they get crispy).

  5. Bake in the oven until fries are golden brown and crispy (about 30 minutes).

  6. Serve with ketchup, ranch or garlic aioli and enjoy!
