Sides: Guacamole

I grew up eating Mexican food at pretty much every family get-together. Birthdays, holidays, graduations, weddings... If it's a Mueller celebration, you better believe there will be Mexican food. And LOTS of it. 

Mexican food is delicious. Everyone knows that. But it's not always the healthiest. (Ok, it's usually never healthy.) This is my personal guacamole recipe that I crafted over years of making it. The best part is it's flavorful AND made will all real ingredients, which makes it healthy!



  • 2-3 Ripe Avocados

  • 1/4 cup Salsa (My suggestion is Joe T’s Medium Salsa)

  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 tsp Chili Powder

  • 3/4 Tbsp Fresh Lime Juice


  1. Remove the insides of the avocados and mash in a bowl until only small chunks remain.

  2. Add salsa, garlic powder, chili powder and lime juice and mix it in.

  3. Enjoy with tortilla chips or on top of your favorite Mexican dish!

Bonus: J and I LOVE Siete (brand) Grain Free Tortilla Chips. They are Paleo approved. Add some meat on top and you've got yourself some Paleo Nachos! (See last picture)
